Ideal for complete beginners or Therapists not qualified in Aromatherapy who want to use oils in their treatments.This one day intensive course will teach you everything you need to know about relevant anatomy and physiology, the history of Aromatherapy,  benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions and full oil profiles for a selection of commonly used oils for blending, as well as relaxing hand and foot massage techniques.

On the course you will learn how to blend oils for therapeutic purposes, create your own blend to use and learn how to  carry out a  relaxing aromatherapy hand and foot massage. The course is dedicated to hands-on practice ensuring students are able to blend essential oils and carry out a hand and foot treatment confidently, safely and professionally.Upon successful completion of the course IPHM will Insure you to use all of the oils listed on the course in your therapies and working environment.

This short course is designed to teach you a complete, gentle but effective massage technique based on the principles and techniques of Gua Sha.

This routine is designed to be added to other treatments to complement facial work or cosmetic acupuncture and is a complete treatment which can also be built upon with advanced techniques.

By the end of this workshop, you will be confident in the use of the different crystals, choices of crystals and the techniques of massage and be able to carry out a beautiful, relaxing and effective treatment that your clients will love.

Facial gua sha has become a popular facial technique to naturally stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic drainage for tired or congested skin. It can be used for lifting and sculpting, relaxing tight muscles that contribute to fine lines (like brows furrows), and for de-puffing under-eyes and cheeks. It’s also helpful for jaw tension, seasonal allergies, and sinus congestion. Gua sha really is a game changer when it comes to the health and appearance of your skin. There is a reason that it has become such a huge trend over the last couple of years, and that’s because it works, both immediately and long-term. Gua sha has the most incredible effect on the microcirculation, the system just underneath the skin that transports oxygen and nutrients to the blood and remove toxins. Studies have shown that gua sha increases microcirculation by 400%, flooding the skin with fresh nutrients. Over time, this increases levels of both collagen and elastin. Done regularly, gua sha smooths, lifts, plumps and contours the skin, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

A Professional one day training course in teaching Meditation, you will learn how to plan your training courses, carry out individual or group teaching sessions, plan a series of meditation classes for all levels, learn how to set up a  meditation group and effectively teach everyone and anyone.

You will also learn professional techniques, breathing methods and all of the skills you require to be an effective and positive teacher, breath work, voice control and how to deal with any problems that may arise. This course will give you the confidence you need to begin teaching others and run an excellent courses and classes. Including record keeping, setting up your space, promoting your classes and more.

There are no pre requisite qualifications required but a good general understanding of meditation is necessary, along with meditation experience

COURSE TAUGHT ONLY ON A ONE TO ONE BASIS

This is an intensive (3 days in total) course with over 100 hours case studies, which will give students all of the theory and practical skills to be able to safely and professionally carry out a reflexology treatment. The course covers  the history,  the benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions, client consultation and practical application of techniques, professional ethics, health and safety and practice guidelines.  All equipment is provided.

On completion of the course training days students must complete a minimum 100 hours case studies in detail, and sit a short theory paper and practical exam.  Upon reaching the required standard students will be awarded a Diploma in Reflexology

2 days training ( consecutive)  plus one day for final assessment at a later date

Pre requisite Reiki II Degree or above

The Reiki Mama pregnancy reiki course was created for 2nd degree reiki practitioners ( or above ) and is specifically designed to treat pregnant mums and their babies, from conception right through until they welcome their precious cargo into the world. It creates an energetic link between mum and baby and intensifies the natural maternal bond. It also helps to treat mum during pregnancy and address any physical or emotional issues she may have, as well as helping the baby energetically throughout its development. It also teaches you to use distant treatments and therapy for the labor and birthing process.
The one day course teaches all theory and practical work, includes Self healing, a Reiju empowerment, practitioner skills for treatments, and on successful completion of the course you will become a Reiki Mama accredited practitioner. It’s a wonderful day in a relaxing environment with lots of fun and learning. Course includes training, manual, refreshments and ongoing support.

This one day intensive course will include all of the theory and practical training that you will need to be able to confidently and safely carry out an ear candling treatment to a professional standard.

The syllabus includes the history of Ear Candling, techniques, benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions and all relevant anatomy and physiology for the treatment. A relaxing lymphatic massage of the face will also be included. Information on setting up your practice will be included.

Ear candling is a safe and effective way to treat adults and children who suffer from sinus related problems or problems with ear pressure. It is very popular with people due to fly or go diving. Its an incredibly relaxing treatment that clients enjoy as well as having practical benefits.

A fully accredited one day course aimed at either professionals who work with children or parents/carers/teachers who would like to include all of the positive benefits of Mindfulness into their daily routine/classroom.  Also ideal for anyone who would like to run Mindful Parenting workshops to teach parents the techniques from the course. This course will equip you with a complete toolkit to allow you to include the essential and effective elements into a day encouraging children to improve their focus, be calm and to help them deal with their emotions, improving classroom behaviour and social skills. Covering the concept of mindfulness (including meditation and gratitude), it’s benefits, studies, the biology of stress and the the brain, meditation and mindfulness for children of all ages plus a kit full of techniques and activities for you to work on (plus teaching the skills to smaller children made easy).  Suitable for all ages of children from 3 years upwards.

Shoden or the first degree of Reiki introduces students to the history of Reiki, their lineage, theory and practical work, consists of Usui Reikiattunements and 2 Reiju ( empowerments) plus all of the knowledge and skills to be able to carry out self treatments, a regular reiki practice including Hatsurei ho meditations and also treatments for friends and family. All training is from the original teachings by Mikao Usui in Japan. This is a wonderful technique to learn for yourself and also for others if you choose to offer treatments to friends and family. A great Therapy to increase your self awareness or self development and to discover alternative ways to improve your mind, body and spirit or to broaden your skillset as a holistic therapist.

This is a 1 day course including refreshments, course manuals and ongoing support.

Pre requisite Reiki I certificate held for a minimum of 6 months

Okuden or the second degree of Reiki teaches students the original advanced techniques taught by Mikao Usui and is the practitioner level certificate. Students will receive 4 attunements, 2 Reiju empowerments plus advanced teaching and techniques, including the 3 symbols and mantras for this level. On successful completion students are able to work professionally on the general public and to obtain practice Insurance. This is the next step on your personal Reiki journey too and this course can simply be enjoyed for self development too.

This is a 2 day course including refreshments and all course manuals and practical and theory work, plus ongoing support.

Courses are held 4 times a year with a maximum of 4 students per course.
